 Hello fellow dancers! Some of you may know but there is a new salsa social.  Please join us Tuesday for the weekly salsa social at the danceloft.  We are dancing to the musical stylings of Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. There is a slick dance floor with plenty of space to shake your booty!

Come dance salsa, cumbia, merengue and more every Friday 10:00pm to 1:30am. Veteran salseros Wladimir Pinto and Amilcar Guevara will be playing with their new band Combo Unico. NO COVER!!

7-11 pm on Saturdays, no cover, great food, great drinks, and a free lesson from AZ Ballroom fro 6-7.
It's a great venue with very nice floors, and it could use a crowd.  :)

What the Hey?

It was great to hear that Tucson was hosting their 1st Annual Salsa Festival on November 14th.
But, then I was disappointed to hear that they hired a band from out of town to play in the festival.
If this is a Tucson event, then why are you hiring a band from out of town?  Isn't this a perfect
opportunity to showcase the local talent of the salsa musicians?.  Perhaps somebody can enlighten me.

I'm new to the Tucson salsa scene...anything going on on Wednesdays? anywhere?? Friday seems so far away!
