Bachata Social at the U of A

Enjoy an early evening Saturday Bachata Social to practice your bachata, meet some new friends, share in conversation and listen to the extensive music collection by DJ Rob!! Although the main focus will be Bachata, there will also be some Salsa and Merengue mixed in.

This Saturday, September 5th will be first open to the public social. And not only will it be a great chance to experiment with your bachata, but also it is FREE! How great is that? Super great, I'd say!

Location: UA Biological Sciences West building, room 301 at 1041 E. Lowell St., immediately to the northwest of the large parking garage on 6th St. near Fremont Ave.

To find the room, go up the stairs on the north side of the building to the patio and follow the music! Also, if you're feeling generous, bring some snacks to share!!

Important Parking Information

This Saturday, the 5th is also a UA Football Game which will make parking a bit of a maze. But no fear, we have a plan for you! The 6th St Garage, on the N side of 6th St, between Highland and Park is offering Free parking if there are at least 4 in the vehicle. So carpool!! If there are less than 4 people in the car, the price for parking is $10, still inexpensive if split between 2 or 3.

If you don't mind walking, the Park Ave Garage @ Park and Speedway is free for all. When there is no Football game, parking in all lots on Saturdays is Free.
