Eddie Torres on Creating Your Own Style

Eddie Torres is not only a great dancer and teacher, but a great individual.  He has managed to train some of the best latin dancers know today.  Here, he talks a bit about the importance of taking the focus away from categorizing latin dance styles and placing it in the importance of creating one's own style.

Abakua is one of the premier dance companies from New York.  Frankie Martines, the artistic director, has managed to create a new style of latin dance based on an explosive combination of many afro-caribbean styles.
